Diameter, pipe series, adapters, elbows, vertical rise, horizontal run, terminal type and clearances can all be model-specific.

PERMITS AND APPROVALS

Gas permits, construction permits and strata approval are separate questions

The City of Delta states that administration of gas and electrical safety is delegated to Technical Safety BC. It also notes that a permit is required to install or alter gas lines. A gas permit does not automatically approve unrelated construction. For a condominium or strata property, confirm written approval before ordering equipment when the project affects common property, an exterior wall, roof, shared vent, service access or scheduled building systems.
